Over 1,000 beneficiaries were identified by Lanao del Norte’s provincial social welfare and development office were given free business franchise and product inventory capital with free coaching and monitoring.
Governor Imelda Angging thanked Project Hope for choosing the beneficiaries and supported the initiative of promoting livelihood opportunities for the vulnerable sectors in the localities to improve economic well-being.
The program was attended by Project Hope’s director Jared Lance de Paz, personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, PSDWDO led by Annabelle Mendez and provincial administrator and legal officer Attorney Mark Christopher Babor.
The project seeks to maximize the business power franchise and the potential of e-commerce as an effective tool to minimize poverty.
The project will be a bridge for buyers who want to buy affordable products and entrepreneurs who want to sell directly to consumers.
