Scheduled power interruption on November 13 in Panabo City

(November 11)  – Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct an 8-hour power interruption on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. This is necessary to facilitate line works along J.P. Laurel Panabo for the Bunawan Substation.

For the crew to safely conduct the necessary work, customer loads will be temporarily isolated from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. Specifically affected are those from portions of Daang Maharlika Highway in Panabo, from Panabo City Hall up to Emcor Panabo.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is paramount to the company, and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity areas where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
