Service disruptions on January 15 in Santo Tomas

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 30-minute switching power interruptions on January 15, Sunday, affecting customers in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

These disruptions will be necessary to conduct network maintenance at the Santo Tomas Substation.

The first 30-minute power interruption will be conducted anytime between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Additionally, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 30 minutes anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the same date.

Specifically affected are customers from Marsman Plantation; New Visayas, Santo Tomas Proper, San Jose, Pantaron, Lungaog, Talonggo, Kimamon, Pag-asa, New Katipunan, Luna, Sampao, and neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers in the portion of Santo Tomas – Carmen Road, from Marsman Plantation to La Libertad, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
