Suspek sa kamatayon sa OFW nadakpan na

DAKBAYAN SA DAVAO —Nadakpan na sa otoridad ang suskpek sa kamatayon ni Marjorette Garcia, 32 anyos,  usa ka Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) nga gipatay didto sa Saudi Arabia.

Kagahapon lang na nakunpirma sa DFA nga namatay si Garcia.

Sumala ni Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)Assistant Secretary Paul Cortes, nadakpan na ang suspek apan, wala niini gihatag ang pangalan.

Si Garcia usa ka domestic worker  nga miadto sa Saudi niadtong tuig 2021,

Sa usa ka press briefing gisaysay ni Cortes, “As far as we were told by the embassy, yung suspect or supposed perpetrator ng krimen na ito ay nahuli na rin ng pulis ng Saudi Arabia at under investigation na ang kaso.”

Dugang sa opisyal, “Hindi employer ang pumaslang sa ating kababayan. As far as we know, magkakilala o parang coworker.”

Padayon pang giimbistigahan ang kaso ni Garcia ug wala pay dugang detalye sa panghitabo.

Nakig-alayon na ang DFA sa Department of Migrant Workers ug sa Philippine Embassy sa  Riyadh sa pamilya sa biktima ug sa iyang amo aron mahatagan kini og hinabang.

Nakita ang patayng lawas ni Garica nga puno og samad dinunggaban,

Ginalihok na sa DMW nga makapauli na ang  patayng lawas ni Garcia.
