Young Davaoeña Architect found dead in a ditch

DAVAO CITY — A lifeless body of a young Davaoeña architect was found in a ditch inside a banana plantation early today in Purok 6, Brgy Dacudao, Barangay Calinan, this city.

Police Regional director BGen. Alden Delvo has ordered the Davao City Police Office to prioritize the investigation and arrest the suspect.

Delvo identified the victim as Architech Vlance Marie Bragas, 28, a residente of Poblacion Calinan.

“I already ordered the Davao City Police Office, to investigate the incident and arrest the suspect and give justice to the grieving family,” BGen Delvo told Newsline Philippines.

Bragas body was covered with loose banana leaves when it was found at around 8:00 in the morning and her lower part naked.

A grieving family member told newsline “She informed us at around 10:00 pm that she was about to ride a tricycle and was heading home.”

But past 12:00 midnight, she failed to come home come which prompted the family to go to the police station for help.

A video footage is now circulating claiming that Vlance was last seen riding a yellow tricycle along Crossing Fausta, Calinan City.
