Zamboanga City’s 22nd fire substation turned over to LGU on Saturday, June 3.

The 128 square meter fire station on the 519 square meter lot is worth P7.2 million, and was completed within five months after construction began.

Mayor John Dalipe and Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja attended the turnover ceremony, with other local, barangay, and Bureau of Fire Protection officials, with representatives from the city engineer’s office.

The fire marshall, FSupt. Christopher Morales, thanked the LGU for the construction of the facility as he said it would be a big help for the safety of the community.

He also promised that the station would be used to carry out their duties as emergency responders.

The Talon-Talon Station fire trucks were also blessed during the ceremony alongside the hose coupling ceremony that was conducted by the fire personnel.
