Krimen nga gikalambigitan sa motorcycle-riding suspeks mikunhod

DAKBAYAN SA DABAW — Mikunhod na kuno ang ihap sa krimen nga milambigit sa  motorcycle-riding suspeks sukad nga adunay Coronavirus pandemic, kini ang gisaysay ni Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, ang hepe sa  Joint Task Force Covid Shield.

Saysay ni Eleazar mikunhod og 59 porsyento ang krimen nga dunay kalambigitan sa riding-in-tandem, tungod sa pagpahugot sa mga balaud ug sa kadalanan.

“Itong seven months natin kung ikukumpara natin sa seven months before that, 59 percent ang ibinaba ng mga insidente involving motorcycle-riding suspects. Lahat na ‘yan pati sa lahat ng klaseng index crimes. Kung dating average niyan apat, ngayon dalawa na lang,” matud ni  Eleazar.

Ang pangkunhod sa krimen mamatikdan sa statistics sa Philippine National Police (PNP) nga mi-ubos ang ihap sa krimen sa tibuok nasud.

“Dalawa ‘yung nakikita nating reasons bakit na-highlight na naman ito, una dahil in spite bumaba ang krimen sa buong bansa ng 46%, naging sunod-sunod siya nitong bandang huli na nagluluwag tayo. Noong mahigpit naman kasi ‘yan hindi naman kasi natin nakikita ‘yan,” butyag sa opisyal.

Una niini, misaad si , Interior Secretary Eduardo Año  nga maghimo sila og bag-ong pamaagi aron gukdon ang mga kriminal nga nagsakay og motor, kini subay sa mandu ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga kinahanglan maundang ang pagpamatay nga gikalambigitan aning mga riding-in-tandem.

Tungod sa order sa President, gimanduan usab ni Año si PNP chief Gen. Camilo Cascolan nga kuhaon ang listahan sa mga nakapalit og motor ug ang mga bag-ong palit nga motor, aron masundan sa PNP ang mga rekord sa mga tag-iya..

Matud ni Año, ipailawom sa training  ang tanang sakop sa  Highway Patrol Group, aron bansayon sila sa paggukod sa mga kriminal nga naka motor.

Ang presensya sa mga pulis sa kadalanan mikunhod gayud kuno sa krimen nga gikalambigitan sa riding-in-tandem.-Winkle Mae M. Tabuclao
