DAVAO CITY — A 49-year-old woman in Butuan City did not get through to the authorities after she was caught with suspected shabu concealed in her pantyliner.
The suspect was identified as an alias Viki, a resident of Purok 1, Antongalon, Butuan City.
Police report showed that the suspect intend to visit an inmate of Butuan City Jail, in Barangay Libertad, Butuan City, when she was cornered by the guard because she was carrying illegal drugs.
The jail guard seized from him 2 grams of shabu that was plastered and adapted to be inserted into a pantyliner.
Information from the prison revealed, the lady guard noticed that the suspect became uncomfortable as she move towards the inspection area prompting the lady officer to thoroughly check her body which led to the discovery of the suspected illegal drugs.
The suspect is now under the custody of the police while the police prepares a case for violating Republic Act 9165 or ‘Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’
