DAVAO CITY —The Philippine Eagle Foundation here announced the discovery of a new eagle.

The foundation announced that a Philippine eagle was sighted during a recent KALUMBATA Patrol with Unified Tigwhanaon Ancestral Domain (UTAD) forest guards in the Pantaron range.

This is the first eagle documented in Pantaron since Tagyaman Fernando, who was released back to his forest on April 2021.

Wikipedia says Pantaron Mountain range is also considered the Central Cordillera of Central Miindanao.
