PNP files charges vs 12 suspects in Cotabato shooting

DAVAO CITY —- The Philippine National Police Cotabato City has filed murder and frustrated murder against 12 people who are reportedly involved in the shooting which killed three (3) people and wounded two others in barangay RH-12, Cotabato City, Monday night, October 23.

Among those charged include Police MSgt. Pauti Dianal Mamalapat assigned to the Maguindanao del Sur PNP and Juhalidin Ladesla Abdul alias “Boyong” who is running for Barangay Chairman of Rosary Heights 12.

Cotabato City Police Station 1 Commander Captain Jemu Ramolete told DXMS radyo Bida that the cases have been filed agains the suspects.

Aside from murder and frustrated murder, some of the suspects were charged for violating the election gun ban as firearms were consficated in their possession.

Police revealed that those arrested included six residents of Guindulungan, Maguindanao del Sur which included a 19-year-old student, four from Cotabato City and included a female social worker.
