Switching power interruptions on April 6 in Buhangin, Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Sunday, April 6, 2025, affecting customers in Buhangin, Davao City. These are necessary for line upgrading works along Panorama-Tigatto Road.

To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Meanwhile, the normalization of the return of loads to their normal set-up will be for 45 minutes anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Specifically affected are those from the corner of Tigatto Road entrance to Juliville Subdivision including Victors Valley, from Lapanday Mandug going to Callawa including DDF Mandug, Fatima Mandug, and Palos Verdes going to a portion of Acacia.

In connection, an 8-hour power interruption will be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., affecting customers from 796 Mandug Road after DMMA along Panorama to Ciudades Business Park, including Victors Estate, Tigatto proper, Sitio Uyanguren, portions of the Waan area, Alta Monte Estate, Narra Park, Deca Homes Esperanza, Las Palmas Verdes, and nearby areas.


Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions but will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances when restoration extends beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
