Tatag IP students foundation supports 30 Ata-Manobo students’ education in Talaingod

TALAINGOD, Davao del Norte — The Tatag IP Students Foundation Incorporated is extending its support to 30 students from the Ata-Manobo tribe in Talaingod, Davao del Norte, with the aim of facilitating their education.

The initiative involves the Tatag IP Students Tourism Center, situated in Purok 6A, Santo Niño, Talaingod, Davao del Norte. Among the beneficiaries, 12 students are pursuing higher education in college, while 18 students are engaged in high school studies. The support includes daily allowances and dormitory expenses.

The Tatag IP Students Tourism Center, inaugurated on August 12 this year, boasts facilities such as a swimming pool, function hall, restaurant, souvenir shop, and cottages.

The Tatag IP Students Foundation’s efforts are in collaboration with the 56th Infantry Tatag Battalion under the 10th Infantry Division and the 7th Air Reserve Center of the Philippine Air Force.

In a message, 10th Infantry Division Commander MGen. Jose Eriel Niembra assured their commitment to supporting the foundation’s mission to fulfill the aspirations of the Ata-Manobo students.
