8-hour service disruption on October 15 in Matina Pangi, Davao City

DAVAO CITY – Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct an 8-hour power interruption on October 15, Sunday, from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. affecting customers in Matina Pangi and nearby areas.

These power interruptions are necessary to erect 69KV poles along Matina Pangi Road for the Davao Line 3 Extension.

Specifically affected are customers from Matina Substation, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, and Rose Bakeshop Pangi Road up to crossing Diversion – Matina Pangi Road.

Also affected are customers from Pangi Bridge along diversion highway, Sto. Nino GKK Chapel, Marapao Carwash, Salvacion Village, Grace Park Subdivision, and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
